Traditional Portuguese house to renovate
Previously, there were 3 rooms upstairs, with downstairs used as one big storage room. the downstairs floor has been excavated, to extend the height of the lower level, and the upstairs floorboards have been removed, to be replaced for new flooring. A fuse board has been installed and is ready to be connected to the main supply. There is a fossa directly outside the building, to be connected to the water/drainage system once installed. There is a small front garden, with an orange tree which fruits twice a year, and views of the valley. ​

With this building, there is the possibility to renovate the property into a 2-3 bedroom home.
The 2-storey house has lots of traditional features, such as a large stone staircase and wooden beams.
Thick stone walls give natural insulation to the property, and once renovated, the property would be very energy efficient.
A very high ceiling upstairs gives a feeling of spaciousness, and an open-plan design to the living space would work well, with bedrooms downstairs, as is traditional.
